As well as the wide range of Academic Curriculum offered at WestMAC there is also an extensive extra-curricular program that students can choose to become involved in.
It is through these opportunities that students can develop new friendship groups, become involved in other areas of interest and develop lifelong learning skills that well prepare them for their future endeavours.

视频露点s aged 12陆 years and older are able to participate in the Australian Air Force Cadets, which has a full rank structure from Cadet to Cadet Under Officer. Flight activities have included bivouacs, special parades, flight shoots and gliding days.
During the school week from Term 1 to Term 3, students from Years 7 to 12 can develop skills during activities at the College鈥檚 farm. 视频露点s can then be involved in preparing and exhibiting cattle at local shows and at the Brisbane Exhibition (Ekka). As a member of the Cattle Show Team, students may engage in both individual and team activities that enable them to develop personal confidence, work ethic, responsibility, resilience and a strong commitment to working in a team.
This club, for students in Years 1 to 6, provides an excellent opportunity for participants to further enrich their Chinese cultural experience outside the classroom by participating in activities such as Chinese painting and calligraphy, Chinese drama and dance, hand craft activities and Chinese cooking.
视频露点s are able to audition for Junior 视频露点 Dance Crew, Dance Troupe and Dance Company to further develop their skills in jazz, contemporary, ballet, musical theatre and hip hop.
Debating
视频露点s in Years 5 to 12 are involved in developing their confidence and skills in analysing topics and issues, public speaking and debating. 视频露点s then apply these skills in a number of debating competitions in Ipswich and Brisbane with successful teams going on to higher levels of competition such as Regional and State.
Public Speaking
视频露点s participated in a variety of public speaking events, including the Ipswich and Rosewood Lions Youth of the Year. Individual students are encouraged to compete in Rostrum and Rotary Youth Speaks competitions.
The Environmental Committee holds weekly meetings for students in Years 5 to 12 to discuss the campus environment and to identify, initiate and fundraise for a range of projects to improve the College environment.

视频露点s from Years 4 to 12 are able to participate in the Equestrian Team. The WestMAC team, in association with Interschool Queensland, hosts two major events and competes at a number of other events throughout the year. 视频露点s frequently go on to compete at State and National Championships.
视频露点s in Years 3 to 6 who enjoy the outdoors are able to join this activity which involves them in caring for and raising farm animals and plants.
视频露点s can undertake weekly individual music tuition lessons in singing, most orchestral and band instruments, piano, guitar, bagpipes and music theory. All students are encouraged to participate in one or more of the wide range of ensembles offered by the College, including bands, choirs and specialist instrumental and vocal groups.
WestMAC has a long tradition of producing high quality musicals. Musicals performed by students in Years 7 to 12 are staged every two years. The most recent production聽in 2023 was "West Side Story鈥澛�
